In addition, there are our “long-serving” employees of choice, two dogs and our animal flatmates in the oberHof. Means: We are family people by nature. Our element is togetherness. That’s why we understand hospitality primarily to mean togetherness
“I grew up here with my siblings. We had a wonderful childhood with many kind-hearted caregivers and even more freedom of movement. That’s probably why I became an enthusiastic mountaineer who is deeply rooted in his homeland. Nothing is more beautiful to me than sharing this passion with others. That inspires me as a hotelier, ski instructor, mountain guide and as a person. I have so many ideas on this topic and I’m looking forward to making them tangible for you. “
“For me, the Oberforsthof is a project of the heart. Actually, born in Gmunden, I have lived in St. Johann since ancient times and have found my home here. Anita has been the soul of reception for as long as anyone can remember. She knows the preferences of our regular guests like no other, has an insight into the furthest corner of the house and knows exactly what has priority 1 every day: your needs, questions and wishes. She takes care of them with the same great joy and reliability. It is therefore already a tradition that everyone asks for Anita instead of just asking for help – regardless of whether it is a colleague or a guest.
Lea is the center of power when it comes to bookings. Lea is and remains an angel. She will take great care to ensure that the room fits and all other arrangements are perfectly prepared for you. On top of that, their little tips are worth gold. Because Lea knows everything and everyone in the Pongau. And she likes to share her knowledge with you.
Martin is a magician and he is celebrated like a star on the Internet. Probably because he and his team not only cook excellently, but also prepare the meals just as excellently. But the greatest honor is due to him, that despite the great responsibility he always ensures a good mood. It is a pleasure to watch our kitchen crew work. They‘re having fun. To each other and at work.
She is literally an “Anchor Woman” for our little guests. For many years Milena has been leading the childcare with dedication and a wealth of ideas and is very much loved for it. I‘m sure it‘s because she‘s preserved a little childishness for herself. With her, a strong sense of responsibility meets joy in playful co-operation. This makes her a real reference person that everyone likes to confide in. That‘s how it should be.
Karl & the entire housekeeping team are the men for every occasion. There‘s nothing they can‘t fix. And sustainably and quickly. Their reliable and helpful manner also makes the colleagues from the room service happy. Honestly, with Karl & Dragan we have drawn the very big lot.
Our family runs a total of three four-star superior hotels in the Alpendorf in St. Johann. All three have their own character, but they are all shaped by the Höllwarts spirit.
